Terms and conditions are subject to change. It is the primary purpose of this policy to protect our customers against any loss during shipment brought about by Averill Creek, its employees or those entrusted to deliver its products.

Averill Creek will replace a product at no cost to the purchaser under the following conditions.  If the product is no longer available a full refund will be given:

1. If a purchased product is mailed or shipped and is lost in transit, upon the completion of a full trace.
2. If any bottles are broken in transit, as Averill Creek takes full responsibility for safe packaging.  Claims should be made within one week of receipt of product
3. If unopened wine is found to have defective packaging resulting in leaks.  If Averill Creek requests, the purchaser may be required to return product or packaging to Averill Creek. Claims must be made within one week of receipt of product.

 Averill Creek has no guarantee on wine quality, as this is subjective and dependent on conditions out of our control; however, if a wine is deemed to be "off", Averill Creek may offer replacement or refund if its own chemical and sensory analysis supports that opinion (after a suitable period of rest after shipping back) and if all the following conditions are met:

1. The bottle was purchased within the previous year in British Columbia and not shipped out of province.
2. The bottle was stored below 14°C in an upright position and, if shipped, allowed to rest for 2 weeks before opening (6 weeks in the case of Pinot Noir).
3. Averill Creek is notified by phone or email within 24 hours of the bottle being opened. See the Contact Us page for address, phone and email information.
4. No more than 25% of the contents has been consumed.
5. The bottle is resealed with the original screw top, packed in a box with appropriate material to prevent breakage, and returned via Expedited Parcel Post within 2 days of opening.
